48Y Square Flange replacement pool motor. Motor is found on many in ground pool pumps such as Sta-Rite Max-E Glas, Dura Glas, Dyna Glas.
Motor has a square type flange for mounting the pump. 4 non-threaded bolts holes in flange. 48Y motors do not have internal threaded hole in shaft.

California: This replacement pump motor does not comply with California's Efficiency Regulations. These regulations can be found in Title 20, in the California Code of Regulations (CCR) sections 1601-1609. To meet California’s requirement, the replacement pump motor must be a variable speed.
New York: New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) Section 509.23 has adopted the same standards as the State of California Title 20 laws. This pump/motor fails to meet these new regulations. Consequently, shipping this pump/motor to New York is illegal and violates state law. Should an order for this item be placed with a New York shipping address, we will be forced to cancel the order.
