This Stearns brake kit is designed to convert certain Leeson electric motors into brake-motor applications. It replaces original brake components and is ideal for applications requiring controlled stopping with up to 10 ft-lb of static torque.

Product Features & Fitment

The kit installs easily on the rear of compatible Leeson electric motors and includes all necessary mounting hardware. Kit size is determined by the NEMA frame and the required static torque. Note that the brake supports a start/stop cycle of no more than one stop per minute when used with a motor and reducer.
