The SQS1202R is a 2 horsepower, two-speed square flange pool motor designed as a direct replacement for various in-ground pool pumps, including PacFab Challenger, Whisperflo, and Pentair models. It replaces AO Smith/Century UQS1202R motors and is ideal for energy-efficient pool pump applications.

Product Features & Fitment

This energy-efficient two-speed motor features automatic overload protection and a service factor of 1.30. It comes without a power cord or high/low toggle switch and includes a wiring diagram on the motor nameplate for easy installation. The motor is compatible with many in-ground pool pumps and mounts via a square flange.

Please note that this motor does not comply with California and New York energy efficiency regulations, which require variable speed motors. Customers should verify local and state codes before purchasing. For compliance and enhanced efficiency, upgrading to a variable speed motor such as the Century EVQ225 2.25THP is recommended.
