Product Features & Fitment

This motor features a thru-bolt mount design, allowing the pump to be mounted directly to the motor via motor thru bolts. The 48Y frame has a thru-bolt dimension of 5 1/8" on center, measured across the shaft. It includes a flat rigid base welded to the motor case for stable installation. The shaft is made of stainless steel for durability.

The motor is equipped with auto overload protection and a wiring connection diagram located on the motor nameplate for easy installation. It is compatible with Century equivalents BN40 and BN40SS. Please verify local and state regulations before purchasing, as this motor does not comply with California Title 20 or New York NYSERDA efficiency standards and may be restricted from shipment to those states.
