Product Features & Fitment

The brake features a double NEMA C face and mounts directly to the face and shaft of NEMA 56 motors, providing a NEMA 56C output face and shaft for load connection. It includes a 1/2" NPT hole with 15" leads for electrical connection. The brake is totally enclosed and finished with a food-safe white epoxy coating, certified by BISSC for sanitary applications. It is suitable for mounting in any position, though vertical mounting may reduce disc life by approximately 20%. This brake is not designed for overhung loads on the output shaft and is manufactured by Stearns.
