This gear motor features a 3-stage gearbox with a torque rating of 300 inch-pounds and an overhung load capacity of 322 lbs. It includes a keyed shaft and is built with a powder-coated gloss black finish. The permanent magnet motor has replaceable brushes and insulation class B. The gearhead housing is precision-machined die-cast aluminum with hardened steel shafts and a hardened steel worm driving a forged bronze gear. Lubrication is provided by a lifetime oil bath, sealed and gasketed for durability. The motor supports mounting at any angle and uses both ball and needle bearings for reliable operation. Optional accessories include the P198-100-9121 junction box.
