This 2-stage gear motor delivers 40 inch-pounds of torque with a 170 lbs. overhung load capacity. It features a keyed shaft, permanent magnet motor, and replaceable brushes with insulation class B. The gearhead housing is precision-machined die-cast aluminum with hardened steel shafts and gearing, including a hardened steel worm and forged bronze gear. Lubrication is provided by a lifetime oil bath that is sealed and gasketed, allowing for mounting at any angle.

Optional accessories include the P198-300-0000 junction box to facilitate installation. The motor’s finish is a durable powder-coat gloss black, and it incorporates both ball and needle bearings for enhanced durability.
