This air handler is engineered with a rigid SmartFrame cabinet featuring a galvanized, leather grain-embossed finish and foil-faced insulation that covers the internal casing to minimize cabinet condensation. Screw-less sides and back further reduce condensation in humid environments, while the coil mounting track enables quick repositioning. Designed for versatile installation, the unit supports both ducted and free-return (non-ducted return air) applications, and includes a DecaBDE-free thermoplastic drain pan with primary and secondary drain connections.

Maintenance and serviceability are streamlined with tool-less filter access, an easily removable drain pan, a factory-installed pull-type disconnect, and glue-less cabinet insulation retention. The unit is compatible with optional 3 kW to 25 kW electric heater kits (available without heat or with sequence-controlled, rust-resistant nickel-chromium heating elements), allowing custom heating configurations for any residential layout.
