This motor features automatic overload protection with a service factor of 1.65, ensuring reliable operation. It is designed as a direct replacement for many inground pool pump motors and mounts via a square flange. Note that this motor does not comply with California Title 20 and New York NYSERDA efficiency regulations, which require variable speed motors.
