This motor is excellent for Smokers & Rotisseries. We call it the pig cooker motor.
We have sold this motor for the past 20 years to customers setting up their own slow rotating spit. There are no instructions on each setup, everyone has customized to their own. We have seen a few setups use a sprocket and chain, or directly coupled to the spit. Please keep in mind the motor cannot get hotter then about 115°F
