The AST225 is a 2 horsepower, 3450 RPM swimming pool pump motor designed to replace common inground pool pumps such as Hayward Super Pump, Maxflo, and Super II models requiring a 56J frame motor. It is a reliable, standard 1081 pump duty motor suitable for various pool pump applications.

Product Features & Fitment
This motor features automatic overload protection and a C-face mount with a round body and no base. It includes four threaded bolt holes on the face for pump mounting, spaced 5 7/8" on center across the shaft. The motor’s wiring diagram is located on the nameplate for easy installation. It is a direct replacement for Century UST1202 and EUST1202 models. Please verify local and state regulations before installation, as this motor does not comply with California and New York energy efficiency standards requiring variable speed motors.
