Product Features & Fitment
The pump includes two 400-5570 unions compatible with 2" PVC pipe, with 3" threaded inlet and outlet connections. The wet end can be rotated by loosening the motor through bolts to adjust the discharge direction, typically pointing left at the 11 o’clock position for side discharge setups. This pump is not self-priming and requires the water level to be above the pump head for proper operation.
Please note that Waterway spa pump unions are proprietary and may require removal of existing unions for installation. If the heater is directly coupled to the wet end, compatibility should be verified as union sizes and styles vary by brand. The pump does not include a power cord; wiring should be marked for common, high speed, and low speed connections according to the motor nameplate diagram.
