California: This replacement pump motor does not comply with California's Efficiency Regulations. These regulations can be found in Title 20, in the California Code of Regulations (CCR) sections 1601-1609. To meet California’s requirement, the replacement pump motor must be a variable speed.
New York: New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) Section 509.23 has adopted the same standards as the State of California Title 20 laws.
