This Century B2980 is a 3/4 HP, 2-speed square flange pool motor designed as a direct replacement for many in-ground pool pumps, including PacFab Challenger, Whisperflo, and Pentair models. It replaces Century B980 and US Electric EB980 motors, providing reliable performance for residential pool applications.

Product Features & Fitment

This energy-efficient motor features automatic overload protection with a service factor of 1.67 and supports high and low speed operation. It is non-reversible and includes a wiring diagram on the motor nameplate for ease of installation. The motor does not include a power cord or high/low toggle switch and mounts via a square flange.

Please note that due to regulatory restrictions, this motor does not comply with California Title 20 or New York NYSERDA efficiency standards and cannot be shipped to those states. Customers are advised to verify local codes before purchasing and consider upgrading to a variable speed motor to meet current and upcoming energy regulations.
