B2981 Century 3/4 hp 2-Speed 56Y Frame 115V Square Flange Pool Motor
This Century B2981 is a 3/4 horsepower, 2-speed square flange pool motor designed as a direct replacement for various inground pool pumps, including PacFab Challenger, Whisperflo, and Pentair models. It replaces Century part B981 and US Electric equivalent EB981, providing reliable operation for residential pool circulation.

Product Features & Fitment
This energy-efficient motor features automatic overload protection with a service factor of 1.67 and supports two-speed operation for high and low flow settings. It is non-reversible and mounts via a square flange configuration. The motor does not include a power cord or high/low toggle switch and includes a wiring diagram on the motor nameplate for installation guidance.
Please note that this motor does not comply with California Title 20 or New York NYSERDA energy regulations for replacement pool motors, which require variable speed models. Shipping restrictions apply to these states. For compliance and improved efficiency, upgrading to a variable speed motor such as the Century EVQ130 1.30 THP is recommended.
