The Century B796 is a high-service-factor, energy-efficient swimming pool pump motor designed to replace standard 56J frame motors commonly found on inground pool pumps such as Hayward Super Pump, Maxflo, and Super II. It is ideal for pool pump applications requiring reliable, continuous operation.

Product Features & Fitment

This motor features a C-face mount with a round body and no base, designed for direct mounting to the pump via four threaded bolt holes spaced 5 7/8" on center across the shaft. It includes automatic overload protection and a service factor of 1.30. The motor is non-reversible with counterclockwise rotation when facing the shaft. Wiring diagrams are available on the motor nameplate for easy installation.
