The Century B845 is a 1/2 horsepower, 3450 RPM pool motor designed as a direct replacement for Century/AO Smith B845 and US Electric EB845 models. It is commonly used in in-ground pool pumps such as PacFab Challenger, Whisperflo, and Pentair.

Product Features & Fitment

This motor features a square flange with four non-threaded bolt holes for secure mounting to compatible pool pumps. It includes automatic overload protection with a service factor of 1.9. Please note that this motor does not comply with California Title 20 and New York NYSERDA energy efficiency regulations for single-speed pool motors. Customers in these states should verify local codes before purchasing and consider upgrading to a variable speed motor for compliance.
