Product Features & Fitment
This pump features automatic overload protection and a rotatable wet end for flexible installation, allowing the discharge to be positioned to the left at the 11 o’clock position by loosening the motor through bolts. It includes two 400-9230 unions compatible with 1-1/2" PVC pipe and has 3-inch threaded inlet and outlet connections. Note that the pump is not self-priming and requires water to be above the pump head to operate properly. The pump does not come with a power cord; wiring should be marked for common, high speed, and low speed connections during installation. Due to non-standard union sizes across brands, the supplied unions must be used, which may require removal of existing unions. Direct coupling to a heater may not be compatible with this pump. Always verify motor voltage rather than spa voltage before installation.
