This motor features a new permanent magnet, parallel shaft gear-motor with a cast aluminum gear housing and motor end cap, plus a steel motor frame. It includes a 12 VDC electro-mechanical brake with a manual release lever, protected by a rubber boot covering the brake assembly. The power cord comes with a plug-in adapter; if it does not match your existing plug, you will need to cut and splice the old plug onto the new wires.
